Dear Colleagues,
It’s midway through the summer. It speaks to us of beaches, barbecues, and fireworks. And because we are at summer’s mid point, I’m thinking about work we’ve completed, and new projects we’re beginning work on to prepare for the upcoming school year. When we are lucky, we can see our past work grow into new ways to support students, families, and educators to move forward – and it’s great when it works that way. I’m already hearing about innovative initiatives for FY25, and I’m excited to watch them come to fruition.
As we have been taking the opportunity this year to reflect a bit on our CES journey over the past 50 years, we’re seeing this essential process of growth and evolution from the longer view. It stands on the shoulders of imagination and dedication, work and love.
Maya Angelou said, “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
I’m so proud of the creativity and commitment to students that you all bring to that process every day; and I can’t wait to see what’s next!
Sincerely,
Todd
