While making sure our document are accessible is important, it’s just as important that we make sure our main website and our other sites are accessible as well. With the web, there are a set of standards we must comply with and they are outlined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG https://www.w3.org/WAI/standards-guidelines/wcag/) and are broken out into Levels A, AA, and AAA. As far as our commitment, we must make sure our websites meet the requirements in Level AA which includes our images, colors, content structure, videos, and functionality.
Included on this page are a list of tools we often use to test and address accessibility concerns.
Also of note, the CES Web Department can conduct an accessibility audit for external members/non-members. If you know of an organization that is looking for help in this area, please email Travis Johnston (tjohnston@collaborative.org)
