Dear Colleagues,
As we celebrate 250 years as a nation, we are reminded of the power of unity and shared
purpose. Just as our forefathers united to forge a new nation, the collaborations within the CES
team and the districts, schools, and organizations we serve must be founded on trust, fortitude,
and shared vision.
I look forward to the continued work and the innovative ideas emerging to provide expanded
services. Our vision for CES is to become a major resource for the western part of the
state—supporting districts with rich professional development for staff, comprehensive student
services, operational support including transportation, and advocacy for the needs of this
region.
As Harry Truman said, “America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on
imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand.”
As we step into this new chapter for CES, I am committed to building relationships founded on
trust and a shared vision. I am excited to see long-awaited ideas come to fruition.
