What is happening at the Collaborative for Educational Services?
The Marketing and Communications department (communications@collaborative.org ) is tasked not only with marketing our programs and services to the external community, but also with coordinating messaging and platforms that help us to share news internally, with fellow staff members and departments.
We also create communications tools and messages for internal use and distribution, as well as external marketing. Examples might include materials for hiring recruitment fairs, or our CES annual report and annual highlights, design and procurement of folders, pens, stationery, and the myriad of other branded supplies that we use.
How we share news:
- CES Community News for staff – an email newsletter sent monthly on the last Thursday of each month to all CES staff across the state. The newsletter shares updates from all of our departments and programs, as well as our leadership, HR, Operations, Cabinet and more. This is also where we share your appreciations and shout outs about fellow staff members.
- CES Intranet – This should be the default page that displays when you open Google Chrome as your browser. It contains frequently used links to google apps, google sites, and important documents -and is also where the Executive Director posts frequent messages to staff.
- The CES Website – at www.collaborative.org This website contains information and overviews about all of our programs and services, as well as agency-wide documents of importance, such as our annual reports, strategic plan, etc.
- Chatter – This is our internal social media platform, through which we post and share all kinds of news, resources, and updates. There are specific groups on chatter for interest areas (such as SJE)), but you can also learn about “all Collaborative” news there. There is a link to Chatter on the Intranet home page, but you can also reach it through the Google apps “grid”.
