Marketing Overview

We work to support all of our programs with outreach and marketing, including all of our student-facing programs and services, professional development, consulting and technical assistance of all kinds, business services, grant projects requiring support, and the Agency’s brand as a whole.

We communicate the work of CES as a whole through efforts that include our annual highlights report and our annual report for ESE; our CES Services brochure and a wide array of promotional collateral developed for specific projects and programs, our CES main website and social media platforms, and our CES brochure.

Please note that while the Business Development department continues to offer all of the services below, the team has less capacity than in the past, and lead times for projects and tasks will be longer than you may be used to.

Some of the tools we use:

  • Creating marketing plans: New project? Let us know as early as possible, and we will work with you on branding, messaging, and outreach plans.

  • Promotional design, print, and mailing: We have an amazing graphic designer in Lauren, who can help you to develop your identity and create print pieces, signage, handouts and publications, custom presentations, and all kinds of other things for your project or program

  • Press: We research and write articles and stories not only for our own news platforms (like the CES Newsroom), but also develop and submit press releases for area news outlets – from newspapers, to radio and TV)

  • Social Media: We definitely want to post on the various CES Facebook, Linked In, Instagram, and Twitter accounts on your behalf, but also create social media marketing campaigns, memes, ads, and events. If you are interested in launching a new social media platform for your project, your first contact is Ashley Barton, who will help you to create a plan and then set up an account.

  • Email: CES uses our agency Constant Contact program for marketing and outreach email communications. Kathy Levesque works on building our email lists, planning and scheduling promotional emails, and creating and designing them.

  • The CES website (www.collaborative.org) features information about all of our programs and services, and about the agency as a whole. Ashley Barton is in charge of the site.

  • Customer Research: Our team fields an annual Customer Needs Survey each spring, and reports on the results to the Board, Superintendents, and our Program and Department managers, among others. We can also field more targeted surveys during the year, and continually work to ask/answer questions at interactions and events with our external customers, such as PLCs, steering committee meetings, and in other venues.
